CRISAN

It represents the place where the majority of the touristic tours from the Danube Delta intersect. A small village at its origins, Crisan has known a fast development especially for it favorable position on the most crossed channel, Sulina, frequented both by the commercial ships and by the entertainment ones. Three big meanders of the river unite here, they being also ones of the most inedited corners of the Delta. To the South, to Caraorman, Puiu Lake and Rosu Lake, and in the north , on the shore between the branches of the Old Danube, towards Mila 23, or to the Letea village and Forrest. Undoubtedly, Crisan represents a touristic potential of a special value which waits to be valued. In Crisan locality the access is done by the classical passenger ships (3 hours) or by fast ships (1 hour), sailing on Sulina branch. The distance towards Tulcea is 47 km.

After a short walk by boat, coming from the pier, we arrive at Lina, a host who always welcomes us warmly. In a yard full of flowers, grape-vine and a lot of grass, there are two houses ready for guests. On the left we can see a wooden house covered with reed, recently built, respecting the traditional, but which offers a very high comfort. It has 6 doubles, each one with a sanitary group and TV set. On the ground floor there is a large table room where Lina proves her mastership in cooking. On the right we can see a house typical to this area, with 3 doubles and a common sanitary group.
