SF. GHEORGHE

Situated at the flowing of St. Gheorghe Branch in the sea, the locality offers nature lovers the beach of the Black Sea and inedited tours in the ornithological reservation Zatoane which lies in the right side of St. Gheorghe on approx. 21,000 ha coterminous to the seaside.

This is a succession of sand banks, with isolated lakes, marshes, river waters and sweet and salty waters, crossed by parallel dunes. Zatoane Lakes, especially, are passage, stopover places for the mute swans, the white, red and yellow herons, cormorants and other mixed colonies where the pelicans abound. In the south of the locality one can discover "The Sahalin Archipelago", isles formed of alluvia mixed with marine soil, wild places of an ineffable beauty.

The home stay offers 10 bedrooms: 3 rooms with a double bed, 5 rooms with 2 simple beds and 2 rooms with 3 simple beds. 5 rooms have their own sanitary group. In the pension there are other two sanitary groups (hot water) and 1 colour TV set.
Full board accommodation is offered for 34 Euros/ pers./ day.
Fishing parties, trips by pair-oar boat and by motorboat are organised and guide services in French and English are included.
